I live in a 3-storey townhouse
I am not saying this to brag. I love the house because of its proximity to our main city centre. Although I moved in many years ago, I have always been concerned about emergency exit in the event of a house fire or other emergency issue.
For many years I dreamed of creating some simple rope ladders that may be found in a children’s playground for climbing trees, or perhaps getting some from a shipping company since they use them to climb aboard. I even wanted to commission someone to have them made.
But apart from the cost, and the time, and the skill, and just about any excuse I could find, I have not done anything about it in all the years since.
Fast forward to 28 March 2018. I realised that I could help myself and others
By building this website. And finding a range of ladders that other people can use too. If I can save one person (Preferably more people of course!) time in finding products that are suitable and where to purchase them, then I will be happy. I had a light bulb moment and someone suggested I build this site.
God knows that I have procrastinated for far too long about getting my own evacuation ladder and so hopefully, by having sufficient information all in one place, it will help others to increase their feeling of security and well-being when living several storeys up.
So what?
I hope to share with all site visitors some resources for purchasing a variety of ladders and perhaps ladder-related products. I am a newcomer to this internet industry. I have wanted to do this for the longest time though and I have finally found a site and program that teaches me how to do this. So it is not perfect. But I aim to learn more and improve as we go.
